# WordPress form to email

> Add a FormDoc form to WordPress with a Custom HTML block. No form plugin to install or update; submissions are emailed to you.

You can use FormDoc on WordPress without a form plugin: paste the HTML into a Custom HTML block.

1. Edit the page in the block editor and add a **Custom HTML** block.
2. Paste the form and replace `YOUR_ACCESS_KEY` with your key from [app.formdoc.dev/new](https://app.formdoc.dev/new):

HTML

```html
<form action="https://api.formdoc.dev/v1/submit" method="POST">
  <input type="hidden" name="access_key" value="YOUR_ACCESS_KEY">
  <label for="fd-name">Name</label>
  <input type="text" id="fd-name" name="name" required>
  <label for="fd-email">Email</label>
  <input type="email" id="fd-email" name="email" required>
  <label for="fd-message">Message</label>
  <textarea id="fd-message" name="message" required></textarea>
  <input type="checkbox" name="botcheck" style="display:none" tabindex="-1" autocomplete="off">
  <button type="submit">Send</button>
</form>
```

3. Publish the page and send yourself a test.

Your theme styles the form like any other content. On WordPress.com, whether you can add custom HTML depends on your plan.
