# Webflow form to email

> Use FormDoc on Webflow with a Code Embed element. Paste the form HTML, add your key and submissions are emailed to you.

Webflow’s own form block sends submissions to Webflow. To use FormDoc instead, add the form as custom HTML with a **Code Embed** element.

**Plan:** Webflow lets you use the Code Embed element on a site with an active Site plan, or in a paid Workspace (Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer). Custom code in one embed can’t exceed 10,000 characters, which is plenty for a form.

1. In the Designer, open **Add** and drag a **Code Embed** element onto the page.
2. Paste the form and replace `YOUR_ACCESS_KEY` with your key from [app.formdoc.dev/new](https://app.formdoc.dev/new):

HTML

```html
<form action="https://api.formdoc.dev/v1/submit" method="POST">
  <input type="hidden" name="access_key" value="YOUR_ACCESS_KEY">
  <label for="fd-name">Name</label>
  <input type="text" id="fd-name" name="name" required>
  <label for="fd-email">Email</label>
  <input type="email" id="fd-email" name="email" required>
  <label for="fd-message">Message</label>
  <textarea id="fd-message" name="message" required></textarea>
  <input type="checkbox" name="botcheck" style="display:none" tabindex="-1" autocomplete="off">
  <button type="submit">Send</button>
</form>
```

3. Save, publish the site and send yourself a test from the published page.

Style the form with a `<style>` tag in the same embed, or give the inputs classes from your Webflow project.
