# Forms on GitHub Pages, Netlify, Vercel and Cloudflare

> FormDoc works on any static host. GitHub Pages, Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare, Firebase and Render need no settings; forms post straight to FormDoc.

Where your site is hosted doesn’t matter to FormDoc. The visitor’s browser posts the form straight to `https://api.formdoc.dev/v1/submit`, so there’s nothing to set up on the host.

- **GitHub Pages:** serves files only, so FormDoc is a natural fit. See the [Jekyll guide](https://www.formdoc.dev/docs/jekyll/) if you use Jekyll.
- **Netlify:** Netlify has its own form handling for forms marked with `data-netlify="true"`. Leave that attribute out and the form posts to FormDoc as usual.
- **Vercel:** no API route or serverless function is needed for the form.
- **Cloudflare Pages and Workers:** no Worker code is needed for the form.
- **Firebase Hosting:** no Cloud Function is needed for the form.
- **Render, DigitalOcean App Platform and any other host:** nothing to set up. If the host serves your HTML, the form works.

## If your site sets a Content-Security-Policy

Some sites send a security policy that restricts where forms may post. If yours does, allow FormDoc: add `https://api.formdoc.dev` to `form-action` for plain forms, or to `connect-src` if you send the form with `fetch`.
