# Framer form to email

> Add a FormDoc form to a Framer site with the Embed component set to HTML. Submissions are emailed to you, with spam protection.

In Framer, add the form as HTML with the **Embed** component.

1. Insert an **Embed** component where the form should go.
2. In its properties, set **Type** to **HTML**.
3. Paste the form and replace `YOUR_ACCESS_KEY` with your key from [app.formdoc.dev/new](https://app.formdoc.dev/new):

HTML

```html
<form action="https://api.formdoc.dev/v1/submit" method="POST">
  <input type="hidden" name="access_key" value="YOUR_ACCESS_KEY">
  <label for="fd-name">Name</label>
  <input type="text" id="fd-name" name="name" required>
  <label for="fd-email">Email</label>
  <input type="email" id="fd-email" name="email" required>
  <label for="fd-message">Message</label>
  <textarea id="fd-message" name="message" required></textarea>
  <input type="checkbox" name="botcheck" style="display:none" tabindex="-1" autocomplete="off">
  <button type="submit">Send</button>
</form>
```

4. Publish and send yourself a test.

Style the form with a `<style>` tag inside the same embed. Add `target="_top"` to the `<form>` tag if you want the thank-you page to open in the full window rather than inside the embed.
