FormDoc is a form backend for any website, made by the team behind [vagejs](https://www.vagejs.com), a free static site generator.

More and more websites are static pages, CMS themes or code written with AI coding assistants. They’re quick to build, but receiving a form submission still needs a server. FormDoc is that server: you keep writing plain HTML, and FormDoc receives each submission, checks it for spam and emails it to you.

## Who it’s for

-   **People with a personal or portfolio site** who want a working form in a few minutes.
-   **Small businesses** that need enquiries in their inbox, with a searchable history.
-   **Agencies** that build sites for clients and want one place to manage every client’s forms.

## What we care about

-   **Plain HTML first.** A form should work without JavaScript, frameworks or plugins.
-   **Privacy by default.** Submissions are encrypted at rest and stored in India. Submissions are deleted automatically when your plan’s history period ends.
-   **Clear limits.** Every plan’s limits are on the [pricing page](https://www.formdoc.dev/pricing/), and we email you before you reach them.
-   **Messages that help.** When something goes wrong, the error tells you what to fix.
